Interior rules of procedure for our guests

Article 1 :

OGATA has the right to decline entrance to guests with inappropriate clothing; whose behavior is indecent, neglected, visibly under substance; with noisy, lewd, offensive behavior or being inadequate to morality and public order

Article 2 : Opening time

Ogata welcomes you from Wednesday to Sunday from 11am to midnight. (Except for exceptional closures)

Article 3 : Nuisance and respect of other guests

The abusive noise, even during the day, is forbidden. The client causing disorder or racket in any form whatsoever, will be asked to leave the premises of OGATA immediately without any refund. In the interest of the tranquility of the establishment, any abusive noise must stop between 10pm until the end of the service. For the respect to the other guests, please restrain yourself from being too loud, especially during evening service. Any disturbance to the neighborhood related to the behavior of a person, may cause the general director of OGATA to ask the client to leave the establishment without the need of acoustic measurements, provided that the noise generated has been deemed likely to affect the tranquility of the guests (art. R.1334-30 et R; 1334-31 of the Public Health Code).

Article 4 : Accountabilities

The restaurant and sabō experiences may not be suitable for children under the age of 12. Children are under the sole responsibility of the adults accompanying them. Small animals (dogs and cats) are accepted under these conditions: they must be kept on a lead in all the public spaces. They must be taken outside to fulfil their natural needs. For hygienic reasons, the animals cannot be accepted neither in the restaurant nor in the tea salon. The animals that OGATA’s policy has deemed acceptable inside the establishment must also be under the responsibility of the guests. It is forbidden to leave them unattended in all areas. Any nuisance or damages caused voluntarily or involuntarily will see its reparation asked to be covered by the responsible person inside the establishment, same applies for the damages caused by his animal. These regulations do not apply to guide dogs.

Article 5 : Prohibition

For safety reasons and for the respect of everyone, it is strictly forbidden to smoke in the entire establishment. According to the decree n°2006-1386 of the 15th of November 2016 setting the conditions for the enforcement of the smoking ban in public spaces, smoking inside the premises shall lead to an additional charge of 250 euros or legal prosecution.

Article 6 : Establishment under video surveillance in the common areas

For safety purposes, the OGATA establishment is under recorded video surveillance. Only in cases stated by law are the recordings given free access for viewing.

THE VIOLATION OF ONE OF THESE CONDITIONS BY THE GUESTS WILL LEAD TO HIS IMMEDIATE EVICTION FROM THE PREMISES, WITHOUT ANY COMPENSATION.
