A look at creation
The exhibition space is conceived as a place of free encounter for creators from all over the world, free from existing disciplines. In addition to the permanent art collection and the original OGATA collections presented in the gallery, the temporary exhibitions organised by the bold eye of Shinichiro Ogata provide a dialogue between outstanding works from all fields, ancient and modern.

Our collections
The exhibition space maintains an important collection of art, mainly from the Japanese 20th century. Shinichiro Ogata's careful selection is resolutely eclectic, bringing together works of various formats, techniques and styles. Nevertheless, like OGATA Paris, they all share a unique identity: both familiar and radically original. Without resorting to stereotypes or formulaic exoticism on Japanese aesthetic, the exhibition space explores creative possibilities through works by a wide range of artists, from the great masters to the less well-known.
