A leading figure in Swedish design for over 80 years, Axelsson is renowned for creating simple, durable, and accessible furniture found in public spaces from libraries to Parliament. With NOMAD, he offers a light, modular collection in wood and fabric — foldable stools and tables, and chairs and armchairs that can be easily assembled and disassembled.
The NOMAD x OGATA special edition, reinterpreted by Shinichiro Ogata, features a khaki finish and a transport strap to carry multiple pieces together. Produced in Japan since 2025, it resonates with the Japanese tradition of mobile, adaptable furniture that moves fluidly between indoors and outdoors.
The models are currently on display and available for purchase at OGATA Paris.
