From September 3, 2025, OGATA will present a limited series of lamps by Studio Kaaron. These new pieces extend the raw earth sculptures already installed throughout the building. Scattered across the spaces of this former hôtel particulier, the works establish a profound dialogue with the materials that structure OGATA: seventeenth-century stone, burnt, hammered or chiseled wood, copper, earth and concrete. This interplay of matter brings past and present into resonance, producing effects that are at times mirror-like, at other times trompe-l’œil, revealing craftsmanship and inviting an almost ritual contemplation.
The series of four lamps, each inspired by a season, evokes the cycle of nature’s renewal.
On view and available for purchase at the Atelier space of the OGATA boutique.
Raw earth: the material of rest.
To knead rural earth with straw is to experience an alchemy of matter, body, heart and thought in contact with spirit. For us, it is an act of simplicity: to commune with nature, to rediscover the mystery of joy. The gesture of kneading has existed since the dawn of time. The night is what hides, awaiting revelation. If the time of night is seed, then the cycle of the seasons is germination. We initiate ourselves into this primordial gesture by listening to memory and closeness, to the whisper and impetuosity of the elements of earth, air, water and fire. And what is revealed is the experience of light.
If the chosen theme is the cycle of the seasons—spring, summer, autumn, winter—it is also the cycle of the sun, symbol of our inner seasons and of our harvests.
These luminous sculptures invite contemplation.
To bring the warmth and benevolence of earth into interiors is both repose and a contemporary gesture.

Kaaron Studio
Founded in 2012, Kaaron Studio is an artists duo both trained in fine art, establishing themselves as a laboratory for artistic research and design. Raw earth is their main medium. For many years, they have practiced painting and sculpture, collaborating with galleries in France and abroad. At the same time, they forged relationships with craftsmen over a ten-year period, designing furniture from materials such as stone, glass, wood and quilted tiles. Today, they devote themselves fully to painting and exploring raw earth.
