Échapper aspires to transform homes and living spaces into personal sanctuaries. The brand creates refined products designed to enhance sleep quality, bathing rituals, and moments of relaxation. In order to fully harness the properties of natural materials, carefully sourced from the finest producers around the world, these materials are crafted in traditional workshops across Japan.

One of Échapper’s signature techniques is the plant-based dyeing method known as “Botanical Color.” It uses pigments derived from plants and minerals, fixed through a specific process that requires fewer colorants than conventional methods and no metallic mordants. This technique produces vivid colors and excellent color fastness – qualities that are generally difficult to achieve with traditional vegetable dyes.

The brand’s core palette consists of three deep shades – brown, green, and navy blue – derived from ancestral Japanese plants: Japanese black pine, Kuma-zasa dwarf bamboo, and sakaki.
