ZEN PRACTICE

ZEN PRACTICE ATELIER]

On February 18 and 22, OGATA Paris is hosting a zen practice workshop as part of a special two-part experience.

During the Edo period (1600–1868), the zen master Hakuin, regarded as the founder of the Rinzai Buddhist school, wrote Yasen Kanna (Quiet Conversations on a Night Boat). In this text, he describes a breathing method designed to improve concentration, blood flow and relaxation levels. This workshop has been designed to experience these methods as a way to heal the mind and body.
